i suppose one could construe this post to be rather heavy. it shouldn’t be. i just love the fact that years and years of vaguely hippied-out, yet very motivated interns have come and gone through this house, and left parts of themselves. Thus – a brief series of photographs of my favorite left-behind objects. forgive the shoddy framing and lighting – my camera’s viewfinder doesn’t work…so these efforts were point and click at best.
loved by countless eyes
if you look closely, or click, you’ll see the titles are in spanish. oh would that the previous intern had left the cd in the case so I could hear if the songs were, as well.
I just thought these purple gloves were fabulous.
This bag smells like steak being grilled. Disconcerting? Yes. Authentic? You bet.
previous interns and inexplicable disney characters.
in perfect working condition – just without ink ribbon
In case you can’t read through the blur – that says “Chavadia L. Kareokes (sic) 2007″
this last one was too auspicious to stay in the drawer. i popped it into my computer, and oh baby is that disc is loaded. although I can’t make the words show up, it’s got kareoke recordings for everything from the beatles, beach boys and hendrix to avril lavigne, green day and afroman. all done via incredibly understated and campy midi-synth. i regret to inform future interns that if i cannot figure out a way to copy this, it will be coming back to the states with me.
cheers!
