I just had a quick meeting with Martin, the director. We talked about Ferlinghetti briefly, the Clintons briefly (Bill is a personal friend…), and then I showed him some numbers and stats about Paraguay I’ve been pulling out of some database accompanied by some possible explanations.

The result: he called another personal friend of his who was just recruited to work with the transitional government here. friend will be here in half an hour, and bring me inside the transition.
